You can help those who are less fortunate by bringing non-perishable food items or by making a donation to the Christian Care Center. The food donations are collected in the box in the hallway by the offices and then distributed through the United Christian Care Center in Vidor. Our church family supplements this ministry by providing money and food for the Center. Your help will be greatly appreciated by all.
Items needed: Peanut butter, jelly, flour, margarine, dried beans, rice, corn, green beans, spaghetti, tomato sauce,
pork & beans, soup, tuna, saltine crackers, paper sacks, bath soap, and toilet paper.
The Hope Women's Resource Clinic (DBA Hope Center for Crisis Pregnancy) was established in 1995. Founded by a small group of concerned Christians seeking to educate the public on all available options, development of the unborn child, and confidential counseling. It is located at 1155 IH10 North in Beaumont, TX.
The clinic is a non-profit 501c3 tax-exempt organization with a small, paid staff and many volunteers relying completely on the community for support. All gifts are tax-deductible. The purpose and delight of the Crisis Pregnancy Clinic is to provide all clients with dignity and confidentiality while meeting their physical, emotional, and most importantly, spiritual needs. Also, encouraging a partnership in their crisis situation slowly allows their confusion and disappointment to be exchanged for God's hope, peace, and unconditional love.
The group meets on Tuesdays from 9 am to 2 pm
in rooms 113 and 114 in the main church building.
The group makes quilts for Girls' Haven, baby quilts for the Hope Center,
pillowcase dresses, boy shorts, book bags, heart pillows, and
other ministry projects as needs arise.
