Donate Money

Some of you have asked how you can donate to the Vidette trail magic effort for this summer. Indeed, some of you have already donated - thank you! In any case, donations are optional (and highly appreciated) - Feel free to donate according to your ability.

There are two ways that you can donate:

1) Use PayPal (this is my preference for those that already have a paypal account). There will be no fees charged as long as you do not use a credit card. Follow this link to donate via PayPal: paypal.me/KenKoval

2) Mail me a check: Make it out to "Ken Koval" and mail it to me . Email me and I will provide my address.

I have shown our current forecast of expenses at the left. If we collect more than that, we are likely to spend it on Trail Magic (up to our ability to carry it). Donations are generally non-refundable once we start spending money (and a little more fluid while planning). Funds left over at the end of the trip, if any, will be carried over to next years budget.

Note about "Personal" vs "Magic" in the table. Each person is responsible for carrying 10 lbs of supplies up the hill, whether we use mules or not. If we DO get mules, it is common for Angels to use part of their contribution to "Pay" for space on the mules to carry this 10 lbs - which is tagged as "Personal" as it decrements the amount of money available for "Magic" and only benefits the Angel.

I intend to be very transparent about the money. I have established a logfile (shown at left) where I will record all contributions and expenses. Open the spreadsheet at the left to see details.
