- storage: Used solely to save your preferred playback settings (e.g., your custom default speed) locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

 - activeTab or <all_urls>: Necessary to detect video elements (<video> tags) on the web pages you visit so the speed controller overlay can be injected.

- scripting: Required to apply the mathematical logic to change the playbackRate of the video elements.

Important: We do not read, record, or "phone home" any content from the pages you visit. We only interact with the video player technical parameters.

4. Non-Collection of Specific Data Types

For the avoidance of doubt, we confirm that Video Speed Controller does not collect:

 - Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Names, addresses, phone numbers, or IP addresses.

 - Financial Information: Credit card numbers or billing details.
