This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our Android app. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”), is an integral part of our End User License Agreement (“EULA”), and governs the processing and transfer of personal data collected or processed by accessing, installing, or using our Video Downloader & Story Video mobile application (“we”, “us” or “our”) or our services, all as detailed in the applicable EULA (respectively the “App” and “Service”).

Any capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the EULA.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we may collect from you, how such data may be used or shared with others, how we safeguard it and how you may exercise your rights related to your Personal Data (as defined below), among others, and where applicable, as required according to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”),the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (as amended by Law No. 13,853/2019) (“LGPD”), the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and other US states as further detailed below.

We do not collect or store any personal information that can directly identify you. However, we may collect certain non-personal data for operational and analytics purposes.

A. Data Collected by Our App

• Usage Data: We may collect aggregate app usage statistics to improve performance and user experience. 

• Device Information: Non-personal data such as device model, OS version, and network type may be collected.

• Downloaded Content: We do not monitor or store user-downloaded content unless otherwise expressed in this Policy, We DO NOT collect and/or store any of your personal data (such as your social platform account password, credit card information) in any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• when You allow us to access your photo album, local folder, on your device(s); Access to device storage is strictly for enabling app functionality (e.g., saving downloaded videos).

• when You repost to any social platform through our Apps;

• when You download or watch or save data by our Apps;

• when You subscribe to our service on our Apps or Google Play.

B. App Permissions Requirements

• Storage Permission: Required for storing download videos. App use remains confined to file management and will not compromise or modify any local media storage contents..

• Notification: Required to improve user experience, provide important information or promote user participation. Non-granting could result in critical info being overlooked.

C. Data Collected by Third Parties

• Advertising Networks: The Advertisers e.g., Google AdMob, Meta, and as may be updated from time to time (collectively "Advertisers") are advertising Service Providers. Their targeted advertising SDKs may collect data in order to provide you with relevant ads. The information collected using these advertising SDK does not disclose your identity, and helps us analyze the effectiveness of our advertising.

• Analytics Services: We may use analytics tools such as Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics to understand app usage trends e.g., Remote Config- data, Crashlytics- data, A/B testing, in-app messaging, predictions, analytics.

• Payment Processors: If you make a payment, in-app purchases through our app and offered services, payment information is handled by Google Play Store under their terms and privacy policies.

2. Use of Advertising Services & Tracking Technologies

• Our app displays ads provided by third-party networks, which may use tracking technologies such as cookies, device identifiers, and behavioral analytics.

• We comply with Google Play’s ad policies.

3. Security Measures

• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user data.

• Despite our efforts, no system is 100% secure; users should exercise caution while using our app.

4. International Data Transfers

• Data collected may be processed in countries outside of your residence. We ensure data protection compliance in all regions.

5. Data Retention

• We retain non-personal data as long as necessary for service improvements.

• No user-identifiable data is stored after app uninstallation.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have rights regarding your data, including:

• Access & Deletion: Request access or deletion of collected data via Google Account Data & Privacy settings.

• Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: Modify your ad preferences in Google Ads settings.

7. Region-Specific Disclosures

• California Privacy Rights (CCPA): We do not sell user data. Users can request data deletion under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

• Nevada Privacy Rights: We do not sell personal data under Nevada privacy law.

• GDPR (EU/EEA): Users in the EU have rights to access, correct, and erase personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Age Restrictions

• Our app is not intended for users under 13.

• We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Disclaimer & Your Consent

• This Video Downloader app is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any other platforms or services. 

• As a tool for downloading videos and saving content, users are responsible for ensuring that their use of downloaded materials does not infringe on copyrights or violate the rights of content owners. 

• It is the user’s responsibility to obtain the necessary authorization from the copyright holders before using or sharing downloaded content.

• By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. This policy is effective as of 2025-03-20
