ویدیوگیر ("the App") is a video downloading application that allows users to paste supported public video links, download media over the internet, and save downloaded files locally on their device.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the App.

1. Information Processed on Your Device
The App may process the following information locally on your device:
• URLs that you manually type or paste into the download field.
• Clipboard text when you explicitly tap the Paste button. The App does not continuously monitor your clipboard as part of its normal download flow.
• Downloaded video or audio files.
• Information needed to display downloaded files in the App's Gallery.
• Download progress and background download status.
• Local preferences required for application functionality, including advertising frequency and App Open advertising cooldown.
Downloaded media files are stored locally on your device.
The developer does not operate a server that receives or stores your downloaded video files or clipboard contents.
2. Video Download Requests
When you request a download, the App uses yt-dlp on your device to process the public URL.
Network requests required to retrieve the requested content may be sent directly to Instagram/Meta infrastructure and associated content delivery networks over HTTPS.
The developer does not operate a resolver or proxy server that receives your pasted video URLs.
Instagram/Meta may process requests according to their own terms and privacy policies.
ویدیوگیر is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.
You should only download or save content that you have permission or legal rights to save.
3. Local Storage and Gallery
Downloaded media is stored locally on your device, typically in the device's Download folder.
The App may access locally stored video files as necessary to display them in its Gallery.
Downloaded video files are not uploaded to servers operated by the developer.
If you use the App's delete function, the selected local file is removed according to the deletion functionality implemented by the App.
This should not be interpreted as a guarantee of forensic or secure deletion.
4. Advertising
ویدیوگیر uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
The App may display:
• Banner advertisements
• Interstitial advertisements
• App Open advertisements
The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Google advertising services may process device, advertising, and related information for purposes that may include:
• Serving advertisements
• Measuring advertising performance
• Fraud prevention and security
• Advertising personalization where permitted
The App may make the Android Advertising ID available to the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
The developer does not independently read the Advertising ID through first-party application code.
Google's processing of information is governed by Google's applicable privacy policies and advertising policies.
5. Consent and Privacy Choices
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).
Where required, Google may present a consent or privacy form before advertising requests are made.
The App uses Google's consent status to determine whether advertising requests may be made.
Where required, the App provides a privacy options feature that allows users to reopen Google's privacy options interface.
Advertising personalization may depend on your location, applicable law, consent choices, device settings, and Google's advertising systems.
6. Third-Party Services
The App may interact with the following third-party services:
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
Used to provide advertisements.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Used to manage applicable advertising consent and privacy choices.
Instagram / Meta
Used to retrieve publicly accessible media requested by the user.
GitHub
The App may contact GitHub over HTTPS to check for updates to the yt-dlp downloader component and retrieve an official yt-dlp update when necessary.
The GitHub update process is separate from the video download process. Pasted Instagram URLs are not sent to GitHub.
7. Information Not Collected by the Developer
In the current version of ویدیوگیر, the developer does not:
• Require users to create an account.
• Require login to Instagram or another social network for the main download functionality.
• Upload downloaded videos to developer-operated servers.
• Send pasted video URLs to a developer-operated resolver server.
• Use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
• Use OneSignal.
• Use Meta Audience Network.
• Use a separate developer analytics service.
• Use Play Billing in the current launch version.
The App does include Google AdMob, so this Privacy Policy does not claim that no information is collected or processed by third-party advertising services.
8. Permissions
Depending on your Android version, the App may request permissions necessary for features such as:
• Internet access
• Notifications
• Access to video/media files required for the local Gallery
• Legacy storage access on older Android versions
Advertising-related permissions may also be included by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
9. Security
Network connections used for supported video retrieval, advertising services, and downloader component updates are intended to use encrypted HTTPS connections.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Children's Privacy
ویدیوگیر is not directed at children.
If applicable, advertising and privacy requirements may vary depending on the user's region and applicable laws.
11. Your Choices
Depending on your location and applicable requirements, you may be able to manage advertising privacy choices through Google's privacy options interface in the App.
You may also delete downloaded media stored locally on your device using the App's available delete functionality or your device's file management features.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the App's functionality, third-party services, or legal requirements change.
When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated.
