2. Foreground Service for Video Compression and Conversion
Our application uses a foreground service to facilitate video compression and conversion tasks. This service operates in the background to enhance performance and efficiency while providing real-time notifications to keep users informed of the progress.
Data Processing: The service may access and process video files stored on your device for the purpose of compression and conversion. We do not collect or store any personal data from these files. All operations are performed locally on your device.
Notification Updates: Users will receive notifications regarding the status of their video processing tasks, including start, progress, and completion updates. Users can manage notification preferences through the application settings.
User Control: Users can pause or stop the service at any time through the app interface. Disabling the service may limit certain functionalities.
3. How We Use Information
We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Firebase Crashlytics: We may integrate Firebase Crashlytics to monitor and analyze app crashes and errors in order to improve the stability and reliability of the App. Firebase Crashlytics may collect information about your device and the circumstances leading up to a crash or error. Troubleshooting and Error Resolution: In the event of a video processing failure, we may collect certain device and app information such as the Android ID, device manufacturer and app version. This data is sent securely to our server via an API to help diagnose and resolve technical issues. The purpose of collecting this data is to improve the app’s performance, reliability and overall user experience.
Facebook Shimmer: We may integrate Facebook Shimmer to add loading animations to the App's user interface. Facebook Shimmer does not collect any personal information or usage data from users.
Storage Permission: We may request access to your device's storage in order to save and retrieve certain data or files necessary for the functioning of the App. This may include, but is not limited to, saving user preferences, caching data for offline use or storing user-generated content.
3.1 In-App Promotional Content
We may display promotional content within the App to inform users about other mobile applications developed by us. These promotions are managed entirely within the App and do not involve any third-party advertising networks. We do not collect or track any personal information, click data or impression data related to these promotions.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through the App from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your information to third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances:
Trusted Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, conducting our business, or servicing you, provided that they agree to keep this information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

Server-Side Error Reporting: We may collect and send certain technical information such as Android ID, device manufacturer and app version to our secure server for the purpose of diagnosing and resolving video processing failures. This data is stored temporarily and used strictly for troubleshooting and improving app performance. We ensure that all data is processed securely and does not include any personally identifiable information.
6. Third-Party Access and Links
Only aggregated, anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. We may share information with third parties as described in this privacy policy, including but not limited to Firebase for error tracking, Google Analytics for usage analysis, and AdMob for advertising purposes.
