WR Tools ("we", "our", or "us") operates the VideoClarify - Offline Convert mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information Collection and Use

VideoClarify - Offline Convert is designed as a privacy-first, offline-capable application. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal identifiable information (PII) to external servers.

Media Files and Local Processing

• Local Conversion: All video and audio files selected within the App are processed locally on your device using on-device media frameworks (FFmpeg).

• No Cloud Processing: Your files are never uploaded to any external server or cloud service.

• Storage Access: The App requests access to your device's media storage solely to let you select input files and to save converted video/audio files directly to your device's media folders (Movies/VideoClarify or Music/VideoClarify).

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To keep our App free of charge, we use third-party advertising services provided by Google.

Google AdMob Our App integrates Google AdMob to display banner ads and rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect and use pseudonymous data (such as your device's Advertising ID, IP address, coarse/approximate location data, device information, and ad interaction data) to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements, ensure fraud detection, and measure ad performance.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings under "Google" > "Ads".

3. Permissions Requested

To function properly, the App requires the following permissions on your device:

• Storage / Media Access (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to select input media files and save processed outputs locally.

• Internet Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required solely for loading advertisements via Google AdMob.

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required to show local progress notifications while converting a file in the background.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in using our App. Because all file conversion and media processing happen strictly offline on your device, your personal video and audio files remain entirely under your control and never leave your phone.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
