Privacy Policy for Video to MP3 – Audio Extractor
Effective Date: August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Video to MP3 – Audio Extractor (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use the App.
Video to MP3 – Audio Extractor is a utility application that allows users to select videos stored on their device, extract audio from those videos, convert the audio to MP3 format, save converted files, play converted audio, share files, and manage conversion history.
The core video-to-audio conversion process is performed locally on the user's device. We do not upload selected videos or converted audio files to our own servers for conversion.
The App allows you to select a video using Android's system media picker.
Selected videos are accessed only as necessary to perform functions requested by you, such as reading video information, generating a thumbnail, trimming the selected range, and extracting audio.
Converted MP3 files may be saved to your device.
The App does not intentionally upload your selected videos or converted MP3 files to our servers.
When you choose to share a converted file, Android's standard sharing mechanisms are used and the file is provided to the application or service selected by you. The privacy practices of the receiving application or service are governed by its own policies.
The App may store information locally on your device to provide features such as conversion history and application preferences.
This may include information relating to converted files and preferences such as theme or default audio quality.
This locally maintained app data is used to provide the App's functionality.
The App uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process information such as IP address, interactions with the App or advertisements, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID where available. Such information may be used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and related purposes.
Advertising availability and personalization may depend on your location, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law.
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand general usage of the App and improve its functionality and user experience.
Firebase Analytics may process information about App usage, interactions, device or app information, and identifiers according to Google's applicable policies and configurations.
We do not intentionally send the contents of your selected videos or converted audio files to Firebase Analytics as custom analytics data.
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes, errors, and stability problems.
Crashlytics may automatically collect crash stack traces, relevant application state, device metadata, installation identifiers, session information, app version information, and related diagnostic information.
We use this information to diagnose technical problems and improve the reliability and stability of the App.
We do not intentionally attach your selected video files, converted audio files, file paths, or other media content to Crashlytics reports.
The App uses services provided by Google, including:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Crashlytics
These services may process information according to their own terms, privacy policies, configurations, and applicable laws.
The core video-to-MP3 conversion functionality is designed to operate locally on your device and does not require uploading your media to our servers.
An internet connection may be used by third-party services integrated into the App, including advertising, analytics, and crash-reporting services.
The App is designed to minimize access to sensitive device permissions.
Video selection uses Android's system media picker rather than requesting broad access to your media library where supported.
Third-party SDKs integrated into the App may declare normal or service-related permissions required for their functionality.
We take reasonable measures in the design of the App to limit unnecessary access to user data.
Core media conversion takes place locally on the device. Data transmitted by third-party services is handled according to the security practices of those service providers. Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
No method of electronic processing, transmission, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Videos and converted audio files remain under the user's control on the device, subject to Android storage behavior and the actions performed by the user.
Locally stored conversion records may be removed through available App functionality, where applicable, or by clearing the App's data/uninstalling the App.
Information processed by third-party services may be retained according to their respective policies. For example, Google documents retention practices for information processed by Firebase Crashlytics.
The App is a general-purpose utility and is not specifically directed to children.
We do not knowingly design the App to request children to provide personal information directly to us.
Advertising and data handling must also operate according to applicable Google policies, consent requirements, and laws.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have choices concerning advertising and data processing.
Your device and Google settings may also provide controls relating to advertising identifiers and advertising personalization.
Where required, appropriate consent mechanisms may be provided for advertising and related data processing.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our data practices change.
Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date of this Privacy Policy.
