This Privacy Policy explains how Innovate AI ("we," "us," or "our") manages your information in Video Player - Status Saver ("App") in compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies and applicable data protection laws.
Our App functions primarily as an on-device video player and media utility tool (including status saving, WA web view, status gallery access, direct messaging, prank dial utility, and sticker management). Most of your data stays locally on your device. However, to provide core functionality, display advertisements, and monitor app performance, we access or process certain information:
To provide core video playback capabilities and media management features, we require access to specific components of your device.
READ_MEDIA_VIDEO & READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Required on Android 13 (API level 33) and higher to detect, index, play, and organize local media files in the Video Player and Status Saver gallery interface.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required on Android 12 (API level 32) and lower to read local video and photo files for playback, saving statuses, and storing sticker packs directly to your device storage.
READ_CONTACTS: Used strictly to allow you to select contacts within the app for the simulated Prank Dial feature. Contact details are processed strictly on-device and are never uploaded, shared, transmitted, or synced to any remote server.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE: Used to ensure the smooth and continuous operation of the status saving feature. This permission is essential because it allows the app to start the status download/save task immediately upon user request, capturing ephemeral content before it expires or is removed. Any delay or interruption in this process could result in the loss of content, which is available for only a short period. Maintaining an uninterrupted foreground service ensures users can reliably save and access the statuses they choose.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display media playback controls, background status-saving progress, and notification alerts for completed downloads or status saves.
INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to load web content within the built-in WA Web View, verify internet connectivity, check app updates, and serve advertisements.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Used to display personalized and relevant advertisements through our third-party advertising partners.
We do not require user registration or account creation. We do not collect, store, or sell personal identifiers such as your real name, email address, physical address, phone number, or media files on external servers.
To ensure app performance, debug crashes, and serve contextual or personalized ads, our third-party SDK partners automatically collect non-identifiable technical data, including:
Device hardware model, screen resolution, and operating system version.
Network state, language preference, and mobile network operator.
Google Advertising ID (GAID/Ad ID) and IP address (for region-level ad delivery and fraud prevention).

This application is an independent local media player and utility tool. It is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. References to terms like "WA" or related utility features are used solely for compatibility, description, and technical identification purposes.
All playback preferences, saved statuses, gallery caches, sticker files, and custom configurations are processed and stored locally on your device. Because we do not upload or maintain user media or communications on external cloud servers, we do not retain copies of your personal content. Uninstalling the App or clearing local storage permanently removes all associated application data from your device.
Technical data collected by third-party advertising and analytics SDKs may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. These transfers are executed under standard legal safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant data protection authorities.

By prioritizing local on-device processing for video playback, status saving, and contact selection for prank calls, we minimize your data footprint and reduce security risks. However, please note that no system or electronic transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure.
Our App is not directed to, or intended for use by, children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in regions governed by higher legal age restrictions). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children. If we become aware that a child under the required legal age has provided personal data, we will immediately take steps to delete such information.
You can control your data and application permissions at any time:
Device Permissions: Revoke specific access (e.g., Storage, Media, Contacts, Notifications) via Settings > Apps > [Video Player - Status Saver] > Permissions.
