This week on Wednesday, April 5th at lunch in room B5 will be another meeting for any students interested in making games (either experienced or beginners, either programmers and/or artists/creators/writers). Bring your lunch as we will start around 12:15ish. The game making is now student run and Mr. Wachs and Mr. Rogowy are available as advisors. Since the last few attempts to organize these events were less than successful, I will wait until students want to take a more active role in running this themselves. After another unfortunate cancelling of last week’s game playing (due to lack of interest), this week on Wednesday, March 1st at lunch in room B5 will be another meeting for any students interested in making games (either experienced or beginners, either programmers and/or artists/creators/writers). Bring your lunch as we will start around 12:15ish and decide what game we can make and what everyone will be doing to have fun making a game.
This week was originally scheduled to be a game playing week and last week students were asked to fill out this form! to set up the necessary equipment etc. to play - HOWEVER, since the interest for this week was once again very low (only 4 students signed up and only one was able to bring in equipment - who later recanted that he could not bring in equipment after all). As a result, this week's game playing event is cancelled and game playing in general is now on hold until such time as students once again show an interest in this part of the club starting up again. Next week will be a game making meeting for those interested in making games (art and/or programming) again in room B5 at lunch!
This week students were welcomed back to the club after a brief semester break (students needed to focus on completing semester 1 courses and final assessments). The club had another opportunity to play games in the game club. If the information on this form is not what you wanted, remember, you can still add more feedback to this shared Google document (and if you are not added to this document - request permission and we will add you so you can contribute). The students played Mario Kart
The game club had its first game discussion session on Wednesday, November 30th in room B5 at lunch. If you would like to add a topic, feel free to add it to the shared Google document (and if you are not added to this document - request permission and we will add you so you can contribute)
