Media Library Access (iOS)
Purpose: To access videos from your photo library for compression
Usage: Only accessed when you select a video through the file picker
Storage: All processing happens locally on your device
All video compression happens locally on your device
Videos are never uploaded to external servers
Compressed videos are saved directly to your device storage
Original videos remain untouched unless you manually delete them
No video content or metadata leaves your device
The app temporarily processes videos in your device's cache during compression
Compressed videos are saved to your device's Movies/DCIM folder (Android) or Documents folder (iOS)
You have complete control over all video files and can delete them at any time
We do not maintain any copies of your videos
The app does NOT use any third-party services, including:
Analytics services
Advertising networks
Cloud storage services
Social media integrations
Our app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages as it operates entirely locally without data collection.
Since all processing happens on your device and we don't collect any data:
Your videos remain private and secure on your device
No risk of data breaches or unauthorized access to our servers (we don't have any)
You control all video files directly through your device's file system
You have complete control over your data:
Access: All videos are stored locally on your device
Deletion: You can delete any original or compressed videos directly from your device
Control: The app only accesses videos when you explicitly grant permission

This app is built with transparency in mind. All video processing uses open-source compression libraries that operate entirely on your device.
