Vida Badminton Club was formed in 2004 as a result of a merger of Prescot Badminton Club (formally BICC Badminton Club) and Crosfields.

The club now has more than thirty members and plays in the Wigan and Leigh Leagues

The club plays on Monday nights 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Orford Jubilee Park - see map below. We play matches on Mondays but will always have 2 courts free for players not involved in the match. 

Membership fees for the 24/25 season are £125. This is payable in two installments £85 before the end of Oct and £40 before the end of Jan. Match fees are £5.00 per match.

Visitors fees are £6 per visit up to a maximum of four visits per season.

We play with top quality feather shuttles for both club and match nights.

Vida BC is registered with Badminton England and affiliated to Cheshire County Badminton Association 

New members aged 18+ are welcome to visit up to four times [Mondays]; after this, visitors of an appropriate standard will be invited to join the club or, if we are full, will be added to a waiting list. Players of all standards are welcome to attend throughout our Summer Club, May to August.

From M62

Leave the M62 at Junction 9 and take the A49 Winwick Road south-bound; go straight ahead at the first roundabout, go straight ahead at the set of traffic lights that leads to the A50 then turn left at the next set of lights in towards Decathlon. Orford Jubilee Park is the Blue/Grey/Green building at the end of the road.

From Town

Follow signs for A49 for Wigan along Winwick Road past McDonalds, turn right at the next set of lights in towards Decathlon. Orford Jubilee Park is the Blue/Grey/Green building at the end of the road.
