Experiences

Before going on this trip to the Dominican Republic, I was eager to immerse myself in a new culture while gaining firsthand experience in how global health initiatives operate on the ground. I wanted to better understand how organizations like 7 Elements address the needs of underserved communities and what challenges they face in their mission. I expected this experience to broaden my perspective on health disparities, strengthen my cultural competency, and help me grow both personally and professionally.
