May 2025
Dear Faithful Partners and Friends in the Ministry,
Greetings from the Landingin family and from the mission field of Cambodia.
First of all, we would like to express our gratitude and with the thankful heart for all your love, prayers and support toward the mission work here in Cambodia.Through your prayers, we are encouraged and strengthened to continue the mission work and through your giving and support, the needs are being met.
This year is a very special year for our family, as we celebrate
our 15th year being a church planting missionaries in Cambodia and
this coming 18th of May, Grace Baptist Church Phnom Penh and
Ministries is celebrating its 15th Year Church Anniversary with the
theme of “We Preach CHRIST!”
Please pray for this special event as we look back 15 years ago where God called us, sustained us, blessed us and helped us through all circumstances and we are looking forward for the next 15 years of evangelizing the lost, edifying the saints and continue to exalt our savior Jesus Christ through our lives.
We are also committed to continue the church planting ministry in Cambodia and even to our neighboring Southeast Asian countries.
As you know, early of 2024, we sent out our second Cambodian family to start a new church plant in Kampong Cham province, two hours away northeast of the capital city of Phnom Penh.
While working and ministering to our 4th church plant in Prosar village in the province of Kampong Cham, not too far from our new mission work is another village called Komoha village which is 20 minutes away.
There are atleast 20 believers in Komoha village that praying for a Pastor or a Missionary that will lead them. We went to Komoha village and talked to the group of believers and prayed for their needs. After praying for months, the Lord impressed in our hearts to help these people and start our 5th church plant at the same year.
Every Sunday, from 6:00 in the morning, we start at Grace Baptist Church Kandal province (our 3rd church plant) for our first morning church and then from 9:00am, we travel for 30 minutes going back to the city church Grace Baptist Church Phnom Penh and start our second service from 10:00am to 11:30am. Together with our mission team, we leave from our city church around 12:30 in the afternoon after eating lunch and travel for two hours going to our 4th church plant at Grace Baptist Church Prosar village and start at 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
After our first stop in Sunday afternoon, we travel again for 20 minutes going to our 5th church plant which is in Komoha village and start from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and then we travel for another 2 hours back to Phnom Penh to finish our full Sunday ministry.
We need your prayers for God’s protection to our every week trip and continuous support and God’s provision for all the ministerial needs here in Cambodia. Thank you so much for everything.
We praise the Lord for all who trusted Christ and made their public profession of faith. We are encouraged to see and to witness individuals in committing and dedicating their lives in serving Christ.
Last January, we started a new ministry called the Children Feeding Ministry in our village church. We feed 70 children in our fellowship hall every Sunday morning before starting our morning church. We are thankful to all who support this ministry and help us feed these children.
If you would like to be a part in helping us feed these children, any amount of donations in a monthly basis would be a great addition to our monthly budget as the number of children continues to grow.
Please help us to pray as we desire to start the church building construction anytime soon and Lord willing, we can be able to finish the building construction before the end of this year.
The need is still great. If you would like to give donations to help us purchase building materials, this would be a great blessing to us or help us to buy church chairs, tables, a sound system, pulpit, electric fans and other little things.
Thank you so much for your love for the Lord and for your love for missions. We are thankful to your partnership in the gospel ministry, and we appreciate you all. Please continue to pray for us and we always remember you all in our prayers.

Brother Francis Landingin and Family

Dear Prayer Warriors and Co-laborers in Christ,
No excuses... just explanations as to why this letter is so late. The first part of this year I was ill and confined inside for about 3 weeks. After that, there were internet problems and I ended up having to buy arouter. And then, for some time, because of computer problems, I was not able to send or receive my email!
These are some of the reasons that this correspondence is so behind schedule. But there are also someexciting reasons! And those are the ministry opportunities that God has given me recently as my health hasgotten better and stronger!
Before telling you about what I am doing in my current “mission field” of Tacoma, WA, I want to catch youup on what is happening in the mission field of my beloved Honduras.
The work goes on, but it can be difficult at times. In La Esperanza, at our main church, Bro. Hotir iscontinuing in the the work there even though his precious wife, Marta, is still struggling with the serious healthissues of thrombosis. Many times, our little town of La Esperanza cannot supply the medicine she needs and hemust drive 1-2 hours to a bigger town to find the medication required. He has also been looking to find a good
doctor somewhere in Honduras that knows best how to care for this type of health issue. However, so far, the\most knowledgeable doctor they have found to care for her is located in El Salvador. When he was talking tome last week, he was telling me that there have been some major vehicle problems that are adding to the stress
and keeping him more local. Please pray that they can figure out what is going on with get the best care for his dear wife. Through ALL of this though, they are continuing to do their best to reach asmany as they can with the Gospel!
Because of some of my communication issues recently, I have not heard much more from Honduras.
The last that I did hear, the work in the mountains among the Lenca Indians continues and is growing. However,I’m not sure if the situation with the dangerous bridge and road has been resolved or not. Please continue to
keep them in your prayers!
Just in this last month, I have felt better and stronger than I have in over a year and have been moreinvolved in the work of the Lord! In March, I was asked to speak to a group of ladies at Temple Baptist in Lacey,WA. What a blessing these sweet ladies were to me!In addition, I have been able to be more involved in some of the many wonderful church programs hereat Faith! Recently, I was asked to teach the elementary Bible class once a week in the Christian school that my
husband and I started back in 1985 when he was the pastor here! I am so thankful for Pastor Mark Smith andhis dear wife, Barbie, who have kept this church faithful and strong! They work so hard to reach as many aspossible, both here and around the world, with the Gospel!
Faith also has a wonderful Spanish ministry. Under the direction of Bro. Duran and his wife, they hold 3
services a week, as well as visitation and soul winning! I try to attend each their Sunday afternoon services on a
weekly basis and, as I get stronger, I hope to be more involved. Already, I am thrilled to say I have met several
from Honduras that attend! Last month, I was also asked to give my testimony at a Spanish Women’s
conference that the Faith Baptist Spanish ministry was hosting. There were about 200 women from Spanish
ministries from all over Washington, Oregon, and even a couple from California! It was such an exciting time for
me!!
I covet your continued prayers because I will also be speaking at a Mother/Daughter brunch next month
at Galilee Baptist in Kent, WA.
I miss Honduras more than anyone can know! But I am so very thankful that God is opening doors of
ministry to me here! I just want to stay busy in His work until He comes! And may we all do our best to reach as
many as we can for Him. Our time is short! Keep looking up!!
Thank you ALL for your prayers and support!!! God bless you!!
For the King until His soon return,
Debbie Lane
