I am currently in Victorian Floral Gardens and just getting myself ready for my surgery. It is a nice little house, and I am in a nice private room that you can consider as a small master bedroom in a Southwestern style house. It has its own washer, and it is decorated very pretty. They also give us breakfast, snacks, and lunch. The only thing I really have to provide for myself is transportation to or from medical exams. The staff and everyone here is really nice to me. Pearl, the owner's wife, is here almost all of the time, and she puts in a really hard day. The one other lady is Avis, and she is a very hard worker. They just hired a new guy to come in in the evenings too. I think his name was Thomas. You can play cards and stuff like that in their backyard. On Friday nights, the residents can get some popcorn and Pepsi, and they get all excited about that. When it comes to visitations, they enforce a half hour rule. You can only have two visitors come for you.

My Mom has been at Victorian Floral Gardens for a few years now.  I feel very comfortable with the care that is provided for her. Pearl the owner and her employees take the extra steps to make Mom happy, keep her healthy and activate her brain. Mom gets home cooked healthy meals, a doctor visit once a month, hair cuts and nails polished.  She always looks neat and clean.

The house is constantly decorated with something new to celebrate.  They go all out for all the holidays.

Since I don’t live in the area, Pearl frequently sends me picture of Mom which warms my heart. She makes an effort for me to feel close to my Mother.

I am pleased that my Mother is well provided for and would highly recommend Victorian Floral Gardens to anyone.
