Victoria Faith Miller is a spunky and outgoing 16 year old actress, model, singer, and triplet, who was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Victoria has been acting since the age of 6. Since then, she has performed in 10 on-stage theatrical productions and has been featured in multiple regional commercials and short films, including a commercial for the Baltimore Orioles Major League Baseball team, with her family. Victoria has modeled in an American Girl Fashion show to raise money for the Cool Kids Campaign, an organization devoted to improving the quality of life for pediatric oncology patients and their families. Most recently, Victoria was chosen to be a featured girl for "Smile with a Statement," a social media campaign building self-love and supporting females in being confident in who they are.
Can you list some of the movies you have been on?
I am actually relatively new to TV/Film and I still have so much to learn! I actually started acting with regional theatre and commercials. In 2019, I was the lead in a short film titled “Delray Avenue,” and to get experience on set, in 2018, I did featured background work for the award-winning Netflix political drama “House of Cards” and the “American Pie” inspired teen comedy, “Josh Taylor’s Prom Date.”
Do you ever get nervous on set or auditions?
I sometimes get nervous the night before an audition or while I’m preparing, but when I actually get to an audition I know that I’ve done all I can to prepare, so I am no longer nervous. It’s super exciting for me and even if I don’t book the part I love opportunities to meet casting directors and other actors, which I know can open doors for me in the future! Being on set, is just the BEST experience! At first it can be overwhelming and nerve-wracking, but I love just taking in my surroundings and learning from experienced professionals and creatives. Once you get comfortable, it feels like home!
What has been your biggest fear during your auditions?
I try my best to remain optimistic during auditions and see it as an opportunity to make connections rather than to just book the part. I don’t think I have a biggest fear.... yes, there are minor details I worry about, but I have discovered ways to manage those minor fears. For example if I forget a line I just politely say “I would like to start again,” and I always have my sides with me just in case! I also always remember that the casting directors are on your side and they want you to book the part! When you see everyone in the room as equal creatives, just with specific jobs, it eliminates many of the fears and makes the experience very enjoyable!

If you were asked to pick between modelling and acting which would you go for?
I would definitely choose acting! I do love modeling because it helps me build confidence and allows me to be myself, but it is more of a hobby, while I consider acting to be a long-term passion! I love being able to infuse aspects of myself into different characters and draw upon my experiences to truthfully live in the given circumstances of a character. There is something so magical and rewarding about being able to allow audiences to feel certain emotions. I love it!
Have you ever been given a role that your character had to cry?
Yes! I did a short film titled “Delray Avenue” where my character, Lily, was crying after her boyfriend was shot and tragically passed away. It was a really intense scene, and although I have never personally experienced something like this, I imagined it as if this happened to someone in my family, which really helped me feel what my character was feeling. For one of the takes, it was actually kind of funny because there was a lady who was jogging by (we were filming in a public park) and she just stopped to watch so she wouldn’t cross through the shot. Afterwards, she said something on the lines of “that was really good” and it just made me feel really grateful that my work was well-received. It was one of my favorite moments on set!
Among all the movies you've been on which is your favorite?
It’s hard to choose because I’ve had really unique and amazing experiences, but I think I would have to go with working on “Delray Avenue.” I loved working on this film because most of the cast and crew were high school students. It was really cool to be able to connect with a cast and crew who were around the same age as me and to see the artistic visions come to life. I believe that young creatives have the greatest capacity to tell honest stories and we deserve to be heard. This film was led by female filmmakers, and I think that is really powerful and meaningful as well. I am a huge supporter of female involvement in film, both in front of and behind the camera.
