Cremation Services

The Victoria Family Funeral Home is proud to house a state-of-the-art crematorium for both standard and aqua cremation. A client may choose this instead of burial as part of a funeral service, or may prefer 'direct cremation', a cheaper option with no service.

Standard Cremation describes the cremation process that most people would be familiar with. This involves using extreme heat to turn the body into ashes.

Aqua Cremation is officially known as alkaline hydrolysis. This is a newer and more eco-friendly alternative to standard cremation. This process involves using chemicals to break down the body, which then becomes ashes.

Following cremation, the ashes are returned to the family in a simple vessel or decorative urn.
