Progress with Purpose, Serving with integrity
Candidate for Leeds City Council – District 4
I’m Victoria Hamilton — a mother of six, lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and a no-nonsense leader raised in a faith-based, conservative home where honesty, hard work, and accountability were non-negotiable.
My family lives a life of service through both the military and law enforcement. That experience shapes my deep respect for public safety, discipline, and the real challenges families and communities face every day.
I started college at 15, earning degrees in areas of law, business, political science, and accounting. I’m currently pursuing law school at the University of Alabama to strengthen my ability to serve. Over the past 20 years, I’ve built multiple successful businesses in finance, tax preparation, and service industries that remain open and operating.
Through my nonprofit, Afterall Resources, I’ve served over 15,000 students and families with school supplies, free meals, and support for children in foster care. I’m also an avid book lover and a strong advocate for a better, more modern library system in Leeds.
I’m running for City Council because I believe Leeds deserves smart growth without higher taxes. That means bringing in new businesses, revitalizing neglected areas, and creating a city where families want to live and thrive.
I’ll prioritize improving parks like Moton Park, addressing flood zones, building sidewalks, and expanding safe, family-friendly spaces — from better splash pads to bowling, laser tag, and programs like sports camps that keep our youth engaged and active.
I see changes that need to be made — and I’m strong enough, honest enough, and committed enough to make them happen. My commitment to philanthropy and community support is not just a calling — it's my way of life.
Thank you for considering giving me your vote — I don’t take that lightly. It’s an honor to be considered to serve, and I will always show up with integrity, strength, and a heart for this community.
Sincerely,
Victoria Hamilton
