My Teaching Philosophy

Learning a language should feel freeing, not intimidating. That’s why my teaching approach is built on patience, encouragement, and real-life practice. I try to create a space where mistakes aren’t just okay—they’re welcome. Because honestly? That’s where the real learning happens.

Whether you're just starting or working to become more fluent, I meet you where you are and help you build confidence, one conversation at a time. I also believe that lessons stick best when they actually mean something to you. I tailor each session to your goals, interests, and learning style—so every step forward feels both practical and personal.

What I Offer

English (ESL), Business & Conversational English, IELTS Exam Preparation, and TPR-based lessons for children.

Conversational English Practice
One-on-one sessions focused on natural, real-world speaking and listening. We talk about everyday topics, current events, personal interests, or work-related situations—whatever helps you become more comfortable expressing yourself in English.

TPR for Kids (Total Physical Response)
For young learners, I use Total Physical Response—a fun, movement-based method where children learn English by listening and physically responding to commands. Through games, songs, and actions, kids absorb vocabulary and language naturally, without the pressure to speak before they're ready.

Exam's Preparation

Speak confidently and succeed in the IELTS exam—improve your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills with structured practice and exam strategies.

Pronunciation & Accent Coaching
I help learners sound more natural and be better understood. We work on tricky sounds, word stress, intonation, and the rhythm of spoken English so you can communicate more clearly and confidently.

Vocabulary Building
Forget memorizing long lists of words you'll never use. I help you learn practical words and phrases for daily life, professional settings, travel, or specific situations that matter to you.

Confidence Coaching
If you feel shy, stuck, or anxious when speaking English, this is for you. Through gentle guidance and lots of positive reinforcement, I help you find your voice and trust your ability to communicate.

Job Interview Preparation
We practice common interview questions, refine your answers, and build the professional language skills you need to present your best self to employers.

For beginners or those who want to feel more comfortable with technology. I teach:

My Teaching Experience

Why I Teach

I discovered something was lacking after more than 10 years of working behind screens, assessing AI responses, examining information, and guaranteeing digital quality. I was competent at what I did. I was dependable, technically proficient, and had a keen eye. However, I desired to work closely with people. I wanted to read a thank-you note from a student who at last felt comfortable speaking English or witness the effect of my assistance in someone's eyes.

Teaching found me, honestly. I started helping a few people here and there, friends, acquaintances, someone's cousin who needed practice for a job interview. And I loved it. I loved the patience it required. I loved watching someone's face change when a concept finally clicked. I loved that every student was different and demanded that I show up fully, listen carefully, and adapt in real time.

That is why I chose this path. Not because it was easier, but because it mattered more.

What Makes Me a Good Teacher

I am a good teacher because I genuinely care. I celebrate small wins—a correctly pronounced word, a complete sentence spoken without hesitation, an email written with confidence. I am patient by nature and believe that no question is too small or silly. I create a space where students feel safe to try, to stumble, and to grow.

I also listen. Really listen. I pay attention not just to what my students say, but to what they struggle to say. That tells me where to focus next.

Why My Past Jobs Make Me Different

My years in AI quality assurance and content review gave me something most teachers don't have: a deep understanding of how language works behind the scenes. I have spent thousands of hours analyzing sentences, catching inconsistencies, and breaking down complex ideas into simple, clear language. That means I don't just teach English—I understand its structure, its common pitfalls, and how to explain it in ways that make sense.

I also know technology from the inside out. While other tutors might avoid AI or feel intimidated by it, I use it as a tool. I can teach students how to use AI responsibly for learning, how to navigate computers with confidence, and how to apply digital skills in real life. My background in marketing and content creation also means I can help professionals craft better emails, prepare for interviews, and communicate with impact.

So yes, I took a winding path to get here. But every stop along the way taught me something I now bring to my students. That is what makes me different.
