Principal Investigator
Victor Fernandez Nascimento
I am a Geographer with a Master's Degree in Environmental and Civil Engineering, a Ph.D. in Earth System Science, and a Post-Doc in Remote Sensing. I'm currently a professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), and the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Brazil. My research has focused on physical sciences using geographical information systems (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) applied to geospatial analysis to solve complex environmental and social problems.

Beatriz Carvalho de Souza
Beatriz has a bachelor's degree in Law from the São Paulo State University (UNESP). Currently, she is a Master's Degree student in Environmental Science and Technology at ABC Federal University (UFABC). She is currently studying the socio-environmental impacts resulting from pesticide contamination in Brazilian legislation.
Rodrigo Passos Fernandes
Rodrigo has a degree in Environmental Science from the Ceará Federal University (UFC). Currently, he is a Master's Degree student in Remote Sensing at the Rio Grande do Sul Federal University (UFRGS). He is working with land surface temperature obtained from remote sensing data applied to understand surface urban heat islands.

Anna Isabel Silva Loureiro
Anna Isabel studies Environmental Engineering at São Paulo State University (UNESP) in Brazil since 2017, with an expected graduation date in 2022. Anna Isabel does scientific initiation at the Brazilian Institute for Space Research (INPE) in the Center of Earth System Science, working with GIS applied to solid waste management since 2018.
