I am a Geographer and Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Brazil, where I work in the Graduate Program in Environmental Science and Technology (PGCTA). I hold a Ph.D. in Earth System Science from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), including a research period at California Polytechnic State University (USA), and completed postdoctoral research in Remote Sensing at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). My research investigates how global environmental change affects landscapes, ecosystems, and human-environment interactions by integrating Earth Observation, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, and spatial modeling. My research interests include land-use and land-cover change, climate-related impacts, ecosystem dynamics, environmental vulnerability, urban environmental change, and geospatial approaches for sustainable landscape management.
