Project: We created a multifunctional laptop workstation.
Problem/need: We wanted the ability to work from home on a table that can easily be adjustable in height, be able to slightly tilt and rotate.
Equipment: To build this workstation we will need to use a table saw, bandsaw, lathe, belt sander, drills, miter saw, and router.
Materials: We will use wood and metal.
Outcomes: We originally design a regular rectangle desk that would enable the user to work while sitting or standing. Freeing the user from discomfort issues like backaches from sitting for a long period of time. After the brainstorming session, we decided to go with a round shape table because it would better attend functionality, esthetically and ergonomically for most of people and the spaces.

Project: Create an Automatic Hand-Sanitizer Dispenser .
Problem/need: Design a physical mechanism that automatically operates the dispenser by the Ultrasonic sensor.
Equipment: Hot glue gun, pliers, and screwdriver.
Materials: A bottle of hand-sanitizer, UNO R3 controller board, ultrasonic sensor, servo motor, 9v battery with snap-on connector, wires, and hot glue.
Outcomes: We started with the proposal to use as few electronic components as possible for the construction of the mechanism and also to eliminate excess wires and equipment from the stations. After a meticulous study of proposals, we opted for the idea that seemed to be the simplest and that met all the needs and requirements. The complex part of the project was to make the components work together(ultrasonic sensor and servo motor). Overcoming the difficulty the result was a subtle, specific project with few components that are very functional.
