About me
Olá! Welcome to my website!
I am a lecturer (Assistant Professor) in comparative politics in the Department of Politics at the University of Reading, UK, and a member of the Centre for Political Behaviour and Policy Analysis and the Public Opinion Analytics Lab.
My research examines how conservatism, religion, fundamentalism, and other moral predispositions influence individuals’ responses to political events, as well as their attitudes and voting behaviour.
In my work, I employ experiments, machine learning, and applied econometrics to address questions of broad societal relevance. My research has been published in leading political science journals, including The Journal of Politics, The British Journal of Political Science, Political Science Research and Methods, Comparative Political Studies, Journal of Experimental Political Science, and The Journal of Theoretical Politics.
I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Zurich (UZH) and am a proud alumnus of the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil.
