Olá! Welcome to my website! 

I am a lecturer (Assistant Professor) in comparative politics in the Department of Politics at the University of Reading, UK. I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Zurich (UZH). I'm a proud alumnus of the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in Brazil.

My research agenda falls into the interplay between comparative politics and political behaviour, primarily focusing on the politics of non-Western regions, mainly Brazil and other Latin American democracies. My previous work has appeared in the Journal of Politics, the British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, Research & Politics, and Latin American Research Review, among others.
