I am a theoretical physicist working on topics in (i) atomic, molecular, and optical physics, (ii) condensed matter physics, and (iii) quantum information science and technology.
Currently, I am working as a Senior Advanced Physicist in the Theory Group at Quantinuum in Broomfield, Colorado. Before that, I worked as a theoretical physicist at Infleqtion on quantum sensing, machine learning, and the Oqtant service--a cloud-accessible quantum gas experiment.
Prior to industry, I was a Senior Research Fellow of the INO-CNR working at the Dipartimento di Fisica at the Università di Trento in Italy at the Center for Bose-Einstein Condensation. Before that, I held a postdoctoral appointment in the Coherence and Quantum Technology Group at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands working in the group of Servaas Kokkelmans. I did my PhD at JILA and the University of Colorado Boulder under the supervision of Murray Holland . My thesis "Ultracold Gas Theory from the Top-Down and Bottom-Up" was completed in close collaboration with the Cornell, D'Incao, Greene, and Anderson groups at JILA. I have a B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Grinnell College.
