English Language Arts - Writing 4th & 5th grades - Monday 10:30 AM- 11:30 AM
Discoveries in Writing is the perfect way to start and/or continue your elementary students in their writing journey! These lessons cover seven of the nine Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) Units and include literature suggestions and vocabulary cards.
American History - 6th, 7th & 8th grades - Monday 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
The Story of Liberty offers a fantastic opportunity to help students to build their critical thinking skills as we discuss not only the facts and events of history, but also analyze the decisions and actions historical figures took.
About me
Vicki Brent graduated with a BS in Education with certification in Special Education from Baylor University. She and her husband of 32 years have 6 kids, 5 of whom have graduated from homeschool. With 20+ years of homeschooling experience, she enjoys teaching a variety of subjects including English, Latin, speech and humanities. Working in campus ministry along with living overseas has given her a heart for mentoring young people and seeing them grow in their strengths, gifts and love for God.
