Professional bio
I am a tenure track Assistant Professor (RTDB) at the University of Pisa (UNIPI) where I teach Econometrics, the Economics of the European Union and Macroeconomics. I have a PhD in Economics from the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), a Master in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (BGSE), a Master in Financial Instruments and Markets at the Oberta University of Catalonia (UOC) and a graduate in Economics from the University of Valencia (UV).
In the past, I have worked as a researcher in the Department of Studies of Caixa Bank in Barcelona and in the Central Bank of Paraguay. During the period 2012-2016 I developed my doctoral thesis at the UPNA on spatial econometric modeling and its applications to the context of economic growth, labor market and fiscal policy. From 2017 to 2019 I have worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics of the Public University of Navarra where I tought Advanced Macroeconomics and International Economic Policy. During 2021 I have worked as a postdoc at the University of Milan in a project of COVID-19 forecasting.
