I am an Associate Professor at the University of Pisa (UNIPI), where I teach Quantitative Economics for Business (Econometrics), the Economics of the European Union, and Macroeconomics. I hold a PhD in Economics from the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), a Master’s in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (BGSE), a Master’s in Financial Instruments and Markets from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Valencia (UV).
Previously, I worked as a researcher at CaixaBank’s Research Department in Barcelona and at the Central Bank of Paraguay. From 2012 to 2016, I completed my doctoral research at UPNA, focusing on spatial econometric modeling and its applications to economic growth, labor markets, and fiscal policy. Between 2017 and 2019, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at UPNA, teaching Advanced Macroeconomics and International Economic Policy. In 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Milan, working on a COVID-19 forecasting project. I joined the University of Pisa in 2022 as a Senior Assistant Professor and was later promoted to Associate Professor.
