Video Intelligence Center (VIC) Organization

The underlying organization of the Video Intelligence Center presents a cooperative multi-layered structure of separated tasks and mini-projects in order to efficiently comply with the set research goal.

[1] Video Story Understanding Based Question and Answer Technologies

  1. Build a high capacity, high performance VTT platform (Zhang Byoung-Tak, Kang Yoo, Jeon Byung-Gon, Kim Ji-Hwan, I-Bricks)
  2. Study on the multimodal story memory structure (Kim Geon-Hee, Kim Seon-Ju, Bae Byung-Chul, Zhang Byung-Tak)
  3. Video story dialogue engine development (Park Sung-Bae, Kim Ji-Hwan, I-Bricks)

[2] Event and Context Based Learning and Recognition

  1. Event status and component recognition study (Yoo Chang-Dong, Kwon In-So, Kim Joon-Mo, Lee Kyung-Moo, Han Bo-Hyung, Kwon Joon-Suk)
  2. Establishment and research of cross-configuration knowledge system dependent on cognitive and lingual-developed situation (Oh Hye-Yeon, Jeong Min-Hwa, KONAN Tech.)
  3. Building world knowledge system (Choi Gi-Sun, ACRYL)

[3] Video data acquisition and correction automation System

  1. Automatic acquisition of large amount of video data and development of metadata management system (KONAN Tech., OGQ)
  2. Development crowd-sourcing data acqusition system and disclosing data for learning (KONAN Tech., OGQ, Lee Min-Seok)
  3. Development of metadata automatic generation technologies (Nang Jong-Ho, Park Woon-Sang, Kim Chang-Ik, AIRI)
