VibePrompt is a Chrome extension that injects an "Enhance" button into AI chat platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek). When clicked, it sends the text you typed in the chat input to a serverless API, which rewrites it using prompt engineering techniques and returns the improved version.
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information
Your IP address
Passwords or authentication credentials
Your browsing history or visited URLs
Any chat messages or AI responses from the platforms you use
Any data from web pages beyond the text you explicitly typed into the chat input
When you click Enhance, the following is sent to our serverless API hosted on Vercel
The text you typed in the chat input box (your prompt)
Up to 5 of your previous messages from the current chat session (for context, if available)
Your selected technique setting (e.g. Chain of Thought)
Your assumption level setting (0–10)
The platform name (e.g. "claude", "chatgpt")
Your prompt text is passed to Groq's API (llama-3.3-70b) for rewriting and is NOT stored by us. Please review Groq's Privacy Policy for how they handle inference requests.
After each request, we log the following anonymous, non-identifiable metadata to Supabase for analytics and abuse prevention:
Timestamp of the request (UTC)
Platform name (claude, chatgpt, gemini, deepseek)
Technique selected
Assumption level (0–10)
Character length of your prompt (number only, not the text)
Character length of the refined output (number only, not the text)
Whether the request was blocked by our safety filter
Whether conversation context was included
API response time in milliseconds
We do not log the actual content of any prompt or response. This data cannot be used to identify you.
The extension saves your preferences (enabled state, color theme, technique, assumption level, toggle states) locally using chrome.storage.sync. This data never leaves your browser except to sync across your own Chrome profile via Google's standard sync infrastructure.

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
VibePrompt is a prompt enhancement tool intended for lawful, ethical use only. By using the extension, you agree that:
You are solely and exclusively responsible for the content of any prompt you submit through the extension
You will not use VibePrompt to enhance, refine, or amplify prompts intended to facilitate violence, harassment, illegal activity, exploitation, or any other harmful purpose
We are not responsible or liable in any way for how you use the output produced by the Service, or for any harm caused — directly or indirectly — by prompts you submit or actions you take based on refined output
We have no ability to monitor, intercept, or control prompts submitted by users, and we do not assume any duty to do so
Misuse of this extension in violation of any applicable law is entirely your own legal responsibility
We reserve the right to implement safety filters to block clearly harmful requests, but we make no guarantee that all harmful prompts will be detected or blocked. The presence of a safety filter does not constitute an assumption of responsibility on our part.
VibePrompt operates on top of third-party AI platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek). By using this extension on those platforms, you remain fully bound by their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policies. We are not affiliated with any of these platforms and cannot be held responsible for how they handle data you submit to them — including prompts enhanced by our Service.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the privacy policy of OpenAI, Deepseek, Gemini, Claude, Supabase, Vercel and Groq.
Sending any prompt — enhanced or not — to these platforms is governed entirely by your agreement with them, not with us.
