VibeCK (“the Extension”) is a browser extension that analyzes the sentiment and key topics of replies on X (formerly Twitter).

Data We Access

The Extension reads the text of publicly visible replies on X posts in order to calculate the overall vibe, keyword, and sentiment. This processing happens locally in your browser.

Data We Collect

VibeCK does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to the developer.

The only data stored locally on your device is:

Your optional Gemini API key (if you choose to provide one).

Your preference for enabling or disabling AI analysis.

This data never leaves your device except when you enable AI analysis.

AI Analysis (Optional)

If you enable AI analysis and provide your own Google Gemini API key, the text of the replies is sent directly from your browser to Google’s Gemini API.

The request is made using your own API key.

The data is sent only to Google.

The developer of VibeCK does not receive or store this data.

Third-Party Services

When AI is enabled, the Extension communicates with Google’s Gemini API. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties.
