Vialo — Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 11, 2026
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Vialo ("the app", "we", "us") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we don't collect it.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. Vialo has no user accounts and no login. Everything you enter — your protocols, doses, schedules, reminders, saved calculations, and any notes — is stored locally on your device only. We cannot see it, and it is never uploaded to us or to any third party.
How your data is stored
All app data is saved in your device's local storage. If you delete the app, that data is permanently removed from your device. We keep no backup or copy.
Notifications
If you enable dose reminders, Vialo schedules local notifications on your device. They are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No reminder content or schedule is sent to us or to any server.
Links to external research
The Research section opens third-party websites (such as PubMed, Google Scholar, ClinicalTrials.gov, and bioRxiv) in your device's browser. Once you leave the app, the privacy practices of those websites apply. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of external sites.
Analytics and tracking
Vialo contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not use cookies, device identifiers, or any tracking technology.
Children's privacy
Vialo is not directed to children and is rated for adults (17+). We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Your control over your data
Because all data is stored locally and never leaves your device, you are always in full control. You can delete individual entries in the app, or remove all app data by uninstalling the app.
Not medical advice
Vialo is an educational and harm-reduction reference tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a licensed healthcare professional. Always verify calculations independently and consult a qualified clinician.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date, and describe the change clearly before it takes effect.
