When the System Fails, the Community Stands Up.
Call to Action: "We can't rely on someone else to cut the strings for us. We must unite and act."
To the Administration and School Board:
"Zero tolerance" cannot just be a buzzword in a student handbook. Right now, families are left with empty promises, vague statements, and policies that exist on paper but disappear in practice when incidents actually occur.
We, the undersigned parents, students, and community members, are calling for real enforcement and transparent accountability. We demand that the administration follow through on its written policies with concrete timelines, documented evidence, and guaranteed communication.
We stand together to demand that action replaces lip service.
We demand the implementation of these 4 concrete policy updates:
1. Mandatory Annual Training
Annual, certified anti-bullying prevention training for all faculty, staff, and administration prior to each school year.
2. 72-Hour Investigation Timeline
A standardized protocol requiring formal written updates and an action plan within 3 business days of a reported incident.
3. 24-Hour Parent Notification
Guaranteed direct notification to parents/guardians within 24 hours of any documented safety or bullying report.
4. Protected Support Services
Non-retaliatory access to on-campus counseling resources and designated safe spaces for reporting students.
