Trial Lessons
New students are provided the option, to begin with a free 30-minute trial lesson to ensure that the student and teacher are ideally paired. If the trial lesson is missed for any reason, you may reschedule but will pay for the lesson.
Tuition
Lessons are paid for at the time of the lesson. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, Venmo, or Paypal.
Tuition rates:
30 Minute lesson - $30
60 Minute lesson - $60
Booking Lessons
All lessons are booked online via the "Book a lesson!" page on this website.
Lessons may be booked 1 month in advance.
Make-Up Lessons/Reschedules
If a student misses their scheduled lesson, they are certainly allowed to reschedule.
Cancellations and Absences
Please contact Vickie if you are going to be absent or late.
Students arriving up to 15 minutes late may have the remainder of their scheduled lesson. However, Vickie reserves the right to not add missed time to the end of the lesson.
A student who is a no-show without any communication with Vickie will have all future booked lessons forfeited and open for others to sign up.

Non-payment
No additional lessons will be booked until the previous lesson is paid for.
Discontinuing Lessons
Please provide ample notice if you want to discontinue lessons. Tuition for unused lessons will not be refunded.

Student expectations
✓ Students are expected to arrive at their lesson on time. Students arriving up to 15 minutes late may have the remainder of their scheduled lesson. However, the teacher reserves the right to not add missed time to the end of the lesson.
✓ The student is expected to bring all necessary materials (notebook, folder, lesson books, sticks, and mallets) to each lesson.
✓ The student is expected to practice regularly as is appropriate based on the age and ability of each student. The suggested practice schedule will be discussed during the lesson.
✓ The student is expected to be an active participant in each lesson.
✓ The student is expected to ask questions and let Vickie know when further clarification is needed, allowing the student to be fully engaged in the learning process.
✓ The student is expected to treat, instruments, materials, and the teacher with respect and should expect the same from the teacher..
