A letter from the Verdugo Hills Council 2025 - 2026 Scouting for Food Chairperson

    Greetings Scouters,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 Verdugo Hills Council Scouting for Food Service Project.  My name is Nick Rodriguez and I will serve as our Council's Scouting for Food Chairperson this year. 

I am personally excited to lead this annual food drive, Scouting for Food! 

Our 2025-2026 dates for drop off and pick up are as indicated below:

SFF Round #1

Drop Off - November 15, 2025

Pick Up - November 22, 2025

SFF Round #2

Drop Off - January 10, 2026

Pick Up - January 17, 2026

So, how will this work? It’s all explained in our 2025 SFF Manual.  If your Unit participated last year, the process may be familiar to you.  Regardless, we will need each Unit to confirm participation and the area they will cover.  If you have any questions about signing up, please do not hesitate to contact me.
