VFW Auxiliary

Department of Kentucky Auxiliary Members,

Welcome all to the Department of Kentucky VFW Auxiliary website! It is with great humility and gratitude that I welcome you as your Department President for the 2026-2027 Program year. Serving the members of Kentucky is truly an honor, I am excited for the journey we will share this year.

Our Theme, “Raising the Bar in Support of Our Veterans” challenges us to do even more for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. It also reminds us that supporting one another as Auxiliary members is just as important. Every member has something valuable to contribute, and together our dedication, compassion and teamwork make our Auxiliary stronger.

Whether you are a new member, been a member most of your life, a longtime volunteer or simply visiting our website I hope you will find inspiration, information and opportunities to get involved. Together, we can raise the bar through service, strengthen our communities, and continue our proud tradition of honoring veterans, supporting military families, and advocating for those who have served.

Please know that my door is always open. If you have questions, concerns or need assistance, I encourage you to reach out. I am here to help or connect you with the resources you need. We are stronger when we work together. Thank you for all you do for the VFW Auxiliary. I am honored to serve beside you, and I look forward to all we will accomplish together.

Together, let’s raise the bar-for our veterans, for our members and for Kentucky!

~ Ron Kohrs, Department President '26-'27
