This Privacy Policy describes how VFixer ("we", "us", or "the app") handles your information. VFixer ("the app", package name videofixer.fixvideo.repairvideo) is a video repair tool that fixes corrupted and broken video files directly on your device.
By using VFixer, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
VFixer needs access to the videos on your device in order to repair them. To do this, the app requests permission to read video and media files (for example, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO on newer Android versions, or storage access on older versions).
Your videos are processed entirely on your device. We do not upload, copy, transmit, or store your videos on any external server. The repaired video file is saved back to your device's storage. We have no access to the content of your videos at any time.
VFixer itself does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. However, the app uses the following third-party services that may collect data automatically:
Firebase Analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (for example, which features are used and how often). This may include device information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and general usage events. This data is aggregated and is used to improve the app.
Firebase Crashlytics: We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the app encounters an error. This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device state, operating system version, and technical details about the crash. They do not include the content of your videos.
Google Play Billing: If you purchase a subscription or in-app product, the transaction is processed by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment details (such as credit card numbers). We use the limited information collected to:
Provide and maintain the video repair functionality.
Diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
Understand usage trends and improve the app.
Process and verify purchases.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your videos for any purpose other than repairing them on your device.

Your videos remain on your device and are never sent to us. Analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google's standard retention policies.
VFixer is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We take reasonable measures to protect any information processed by the app. Because video repair happens locally on your device, your video content is never exposed to us or transmitted over the internet.
