VexCine ("we," "us," "our," or "the Service") understands the importance of your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when you access or use the VexCine mobile application and related services.

Video Content: VexCine allows you to upload videos for applying filters and effects. The videos you choose to upload are processed locally on your device. We do not upload your original videos to our servers unless necessary for specific features.
Account Information (if applicable): If you create an account for data synchronization or cross-device access, you will provide your email address as your identifier. You may also create a password. No other personally identifying information is required.
Communications: If you contact us for support, provide feedback, or report issues, we may receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address and details about your request.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device and Usage Information: When you use VexCine, we may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as your device brand and model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, performance data, filter and effect usage statistics, and general statistics about how app features are used.
Permission-Related Data: To access and edit video files, we request storage permission. All permissions require your explicit consent.
2. How We Use Information
We may use the information described above to:
- Provide and maintain VexCine's core features, including uploading videos, applying filters and effects, and exporting edited videos;
- Process videos you upload and apply selected filters and effects to create edited exports;
- Improve app reliability, performance, usability, and features;
- Diagnose crashes, errors, processing failures, and other technical issues;
- Respond to support requests, questions, and feedback;
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service; and
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information or original video content. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
With Your Consent: We may share information when you clearly authorize or direct us to do so.
With Service Providers: We may use trusted service providers, such as crash reporting, analytics, cloud infrastructure, or customer support providers, to help operate and improve VexCine. These providers may process information only on our behalf and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
For Legal and Safety Reasons: We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process, protect our rights or property, investigate fraud or security issues, or protect the safety of users or the public.
In Connection with a Business Transfer: If VexCine is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
4. Data Storage, Retention, and Security
Storage and Retention: We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may remove videos and their related information using the deletion features available in the app.
Processing of Videos: Videos you upload for editing are processed locally on your device. We do not store your original or edited videos on our servers unless you explicitly choose to use cloud backup or sharing features. Exported videos are saved to your device's local storage.
Security: We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. We use SSL encryption for data transmission and encrypt sensitive stored data (like passwords). However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Transfers: Information processed by our service providers may be transferred to or stored in countries or regions other than your own. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards designed to protect that information.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

VexCine is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information without the consent required by law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
If a higher minimum age applies in your country or region, we will comply with that requirement.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. If required by law, we will also provide additional notice, such as an in-app notification. Your continued use of VexCine after an updated policy takes effect means that you acknowledge the revised policy.
