Furthermore, veterinary records such as animal species, breed, age, and medical notes may be stored within the App to support clinical workflows.
We may also collect appointment-related information, including scheduled dates, services provided, medications, and associated fees. Additionally, certain technical information such as device type, operating system version, and usage data may be collected automatically to help us monitor performance, improve functionality, and resolve technical issues.
3. How We Use Your Information

We take data security seriously and implement appropriate measures to protect your information. Data entered into the App is primarily stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. If cloud synchronization is enabled, data is securely stored on cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase.
We utilize authentication systems, encryption practices, and access control mechanisms such as Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure that only authorized users can access their data. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Vet Care integrates with trusted third-party services to provide essential functionality. These services include Supabase for authentication and database management, as well as Google Play Services for app distribution, analytics, and crash reporting.

To ensure proper functionality, the App may request access to certain device permissions. These include internet access for authentication and cloud synchronization, storage access for saving and retrieving files such as PDF receipts, and notification permissions for sending appointment reminders.
Optional permissions such as access to contacts or Bluetooth are only used when explicitly enabled by the user. For example, contact access may be used to import client information, while Bluetooth may be used to connect to compatible printing devices. These permissions are not accessed without user consent.
