Christina Jones - Club Director
Christina is a second generation homeschooler, currently homeschooling her own four children. Her experience includes directing a co-op, working professionally in healthcare, and serving other local communities. She enjoys exploring nature, teaching dance, and reading a good book in five to ten minute increments.
Stephanie Dropping - Speech Coach
Stephanie is starting her 10th year coaching Verve speech as part of Verve Speech and Debate. She enjoys seeing her students incredible growth in public speaking and interpretive skills each season. Several speakers from Verve have qualified for and competed at Stoa’s national tournament with several earning a top 10 award for their speeches. Stephanie previously worked in the wireless communication industry in Training and Development, and then in Human Resources.
Charlie Said - Debate Coach
Charlie currently serves as Verve’s head coach. He debated in Verve from age 13 until his senior year, during which he won the Team Policy National Championship. He has debated for 3 years in college and is entering his second year of coaching Verve. Charlie holds Bachelors degrees in Data Science and Political Science, and currently works in Seattle for the Discovery Institute.
Sarah Said - Debate Coach
Sarah leads coaching for Verve's Team Policy novice class. She competed in speech and debate with Verve throughout middle school and high school. She continued her forensics career throughout college as well, culminating in winning best overall speaker and debater in the Northwest Forensics Conference her senior year. Sarah graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and currently works as a Software Engineer at Acorns.
