On October 12, 2021, Kelly passed away unexpectedly. Kelly was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Her warmth, compassion, and generosity left a lasting impact on so many—whether through her personal relationships or her professional work.

If you were lucky enough to know Kelly, you knew how easy she was to love. She had a natural ability to make people feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her sense of humor, intelligence, and kindness were just a few of the many qualities that made her so special.

More than anything, Kelly cherished being a mom. Ava and Julia were the center of her world, and her love for them was evident in everything she did. Her family and friends were her foundation, and she would do anything for those she loved.

Education was one of Kelly’s core values. After graduating from Fermi High School, she went on to earn her Associate’s Degree as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from Becker College. She later received her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Charter Oak State College—an achievement that reflected her dedication and drive.

To honor Kelly’s legacy, we are committed to supporting her daughters, Ava and Julia, as they pursue their own educational journeys—just as their mom did. In addition, we will be establishing a scholarship in Kelly’s name to be awarded to graduating students in Enfield who plan to continue their education.

All proceeds from this event will go directly to Ava and Julia’s college fund and the Kelly memorial scholarship fund.

Kelly was—and will always be—deeply loved. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy will continue to inspire.
