After successful exhibitions for the international Auschwitz committee in Brussels and Berlin, Antoon Versteegde was asked to make a similar exhibition at the United Nations building in New York, for the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Young people from all over the world who had visited the concentration camp along with survivors, had themselves photographed and told their experiences in order to contribute to the statement: No more Auschwitz.

Na succesvolle tentoonstellingen voor het internationale Auschwitz comité in Brussel en Berlijn, werd Antoon Versteegde gevraagd een soortgelijke tentoonstelling te maken un het gebouw van de Verenigde Naties in New York, vanwege de 60 jarige herdenking van de bevrijding van Auschwitz. Jongeren uit de hele wereld die het concentratiekamp hadden bezocht samen met overlevenden, lieten zich fotograferen en vertelden hun ervaringen om zo bij te dragen aan het statement: Nooit meer Auschwitz.
