VerseCraft AI (“the App”) is provided by Joshua Jones (“we”, “us”).
VerseCraft AI helps users create lyrics, poems, tributes, love notes, rap verses, worship/inspirational writing, and other personal writing with AI assistance.
We do not require users to create an account.
Information We Collect or Process
User-created content:
When you use AI generation or rewrite features, the App may send the text you enter, such as topics, names, memories, style choices, tone choices, and draft content, to our backend service so the App can generate or rewrite content.
AI processing:
Our backend may send your generation request to Google Gemini or related Google AI services to produce AI-generated text.
Saved projects:
Saved projects are stored locally on your device. If you export, import, copy, share, or back up a project, that action is controlled by you.
Device or app identifiers:
The App may use a hashed app/device identifier, such as Android App Set ID or a locally generated app identifier, to enforce daily generation limits, prevent abuse, verify Premium access, and protect service reliability. We do not use this identifier for advertising.
Premium purchases:
Premium purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card information. The App may send a Google Play purchase token to our backend to verify Premium access.
Feedback and support:
If you email us or use the Send Feedback option, we may receive your email address, message, app version, and related support details.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide AI writing generation and rewrite features
- Enforce free and Premium generation limits
- Verify Premium subscription status
- Save and restore user-controlled project data
- Respond to feedback and support requests
- Prevent abuse and protect service reliability
- Improve the App experience
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
We may process data using service providers that help operate the App, including:
- Google Cloud services for backend hosting and usage tracking
- Google Gemini or related Google AI services for AI generation
- Google Play for subscription purchase and Premium verification
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect data, including encrypted transmission where applicable. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Data Retention and Deletion
Saved projects stored on your device can be deleted in the App or by uninstalling the App.
Backend usage records and support messages may be retained as needed to operate the App, prevent abuse, verify Premium access, comply with legal obligations, and respond to support requests.
Users may request deletion of data associated with VerseCraft AI by emailing:

Please include “VerseCraft AI Data Deletion Request” in the subject line. We will review and delete applicable backend or support records where reasonably identifiable.
Children’s Privacy
VerseCraft AI is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review and delete applicable information where reasonably identifiable.
Advertising
VerseCraft AI does not currently display in-app ads.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
