Hi, I'm Veronika! Thanks for sharing in my love of art and checking out my work.

Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I remember, with my earliest memory consisting of filling in the blank spaces of scribbles to create a beautiful, colorful blob. Since then, my interests have greatly progressed to explorations in watercolor, acrylic, portraiture and more.

My most challenging period of creating came from my high school AP Studio art course, where I crafted a portfolio of portraits inspired by the lyrics and moods of my favorite songs. You'll notice several of them on this site, but I enjoyed mixing the realism of charcoal portraits with more abstract and fluid elements in other mediums to represent aspects of the song.

Since then, I have sought to experiment with other subjects and mediums, looking to enhance my creativity and technique. Other projects have been inspired by my travels abroad, family members, or calls for racial justice (amazingly, I was able to raise $600 for non-profits working to support Black communities by selling prints of my art during the summer of 2020).

While I am unsure what my personal style of art is, there is beauty in the unknown and the constant development of new ideas and mediums come to life!
