Born in Manila, Philippines, Leo immigrated to New Orleans in 1994, where she experienced a permanent artistic awakening driven by the sensory brilliance, rich culinary traditions, and colorful streets of the iconic city. Now established in Orlando, Florida, since 1998, her work draws deep inspiration from the fast-paced multicultural dynamics and diverse viewpoints of her modern home.

Forged into a dedicated, full-time practice in 2021 amid the profound stillness of the post-pandemic world, Leo’s fluid acrylic compositions serve as a vital therapeutic anchor.
