A wonderful woman emailed me to say that she had  a dozen or so sweaters she wanted to donate to us from her late husband and proceeded to tell us that she also had a 65 year old ski sweater of her father's that she wished could be turned into a pair of mittens. Of course I said yes and made these beautiful pair for her to remember him by. 

A funny thing happened the other day. A past co-worker saw our ad on the list serve. Naturally, she was curious so she went to our website to check out our mittens. As she was scrolling through the site she came across this pair of mittens and instantly recognized the sweater! It was her mother-in-law's sweater that she had dropped off at the Listen Store.  My husband had purchased it there a few weeks ago on one of his buying days. She quickly emailed me and asked if there was enough of the sweater left for me to make two more pairs for her two sister-in-laws. Luckily, there was just enough!

My slippers arrived today!  And they are lovely!!  Thanks so much. Looking forward to picking out my mittens soon!!
