I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the School of Interdisciplinary Research (SIRe), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. My research focuses on developing mathematical and biofidelic models of human body parts, particularly the spine and brain, to better understand how harmful vibrations are transmitted through the body and their physiological impacts. This work holds growing relevance in public health and occupational safety. I adopt an interdisciplinary approach, combining biomechanics, mechanical vibrations, experimental and computational studies, and finite element analysis to create biologically realistic models that accurately simulate how vibrations affect human tissues and organs. My research aims to assess and reduce vibration-related injuries in workplaces and vehicles and to support the design of ergonomic and protective solutions that enhance health and performance.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed an M.Tech. in Design Engineering from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar in 2022. My master’s thesis, titled “Active Vibration Control and Finite Element Model Updating of Smart Structure,” explored the use of smart materials and control strategies for structural vibration suppression. I earned my B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, in 2017, where I developed a strong foundation in mechanical design and dynamic system analysis.
"Behind my journey stand my parents, my greatest strength. My mother’s sacrifices and unwavering belief light my path, turning struggles into stepping stones. My father’s life taught me to transform challenges into motivation. Their love and blessings remain the foundation of all I achieve." Through my academic and research journey, I aim to bridge the gap between mechanical engineering and healthcare, with a long-term vision of contributing to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and the development of human-centered technologies that promote safety, well-being, and performance through innovative interdisciplinary solutions.
