Iván Markman, Chief Business Officer at Verizon Media, oversees the unit’s B2B business. He leads the unit’s efforts to create more meaningful and valuable relationships between consumers, publishers, and marketers. Iván brings over 20 years of strategic and operational experience in Ad & Marketing technology, and a strong passion for transforming businesses.
In addition to his executive leadership role at Verizon Media, Ivan also holds Board of Director positions with DPAA, the leading global trade marketing association connecting digital out-of-home media with the advertising community, and Alliance for SoCal Innovation, a non-profit organization that supports the growth and development of SoCal innovation ecosystem leaders and stakeholders.
Immediately before joining Verizon Media, Iván served as special advisor to the CEO & Board of Directors of comscore. In his role, he led the organization through a significant operational and strategic turnaround, going back to the public market, and rekindling innovation, operational scale and growth.
Previously, Iván was GM of Neustar’s Marketing Services business. He joined Neustar after its $450M acquisition of MarketShare where he was COO. At MarketShare he grew the business and built the platform globally, increasing its value 15x. Prior to that, Iván was the VP of Corporate Strategy at Yahoo, where he led global corporate strategy initiatives, including assessing Yahoo's business portfolio and recommending areas for investment and divestiture. He supported key strategic deals including the ad partnership with Microsoft, as well as a series of acquisitions in the AdTech and MarTech spaces. Iván joined Yahoo when it acquired Overture, a leader in Paid Search where Iván was leading Strategy & Corporate Development. He started his career in Argentina working in various talent, sales & marketing roles at Procter & Gamble.
Illustrative of his passion for helping start-ups evolve into successful businesses, Iván continues to serve on the Board of Directors, and as an investor and advisor in various early stage ventures primarily in Marketing Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Data.
Iván received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles’ Anderson School of Management and holds an MS in Finance and a BA in Business & Managerial Economics from the Universidad de San Andrés (Argentina).
Kristiana Carlet

As vice president of International Sales for Verizon Media, Kristiana is responsible for leading the business organisations internationally. International is an integral part of the company’s global strategy. Since the International Org was formed two years ago, teams across regions and functions have been working more closely and collaboratively than ever and have built a strong foundation for Kristiana to lead growth in 2021 and beyond.
Kristiana began her career at Yahoo in Italy as an agency sales executive in 2000 and was promoted throughout the company, leading sales, ad operations and account management teams across multiple regions, until the formation of Oath when parent-company Verizon bought together Yahoo and AOL into its new media technology subsidiary with 1 billion users globally. Verizon then renamed the company Verizon Media in January 2019.
A promotion to VP of Oath’s partner markets and the Nordics, Kristiana was responsible for driving revenue and growth for these strategic markets. She managed partners to drive sales of key Oath products, including Yahoo Gemini native advertising platform, to advertisers in markets like Romania, South Africa, the UAE and Belgium as well as leading the Oath sales teams in the ultra-creative Nordics region.
The next move for Kristiana was in January 2020 to Head of EMEA, to drive commercial success of Verizon Media across the regions working with the country leads.

Rico Chan

Rico Chan joined the senior leadership team of Yahoo Hong Kong in 2009 bringing in his versatile sales & marketing and senior management experience of over 25 years from the Information Technology to Media arena both in Hong Kong and in the Mainland of China.
As the Head of Advertising Business with Yahoo Hong Kong in the first four years, Rico was responsible for direct sales, channel sales and online business development, driving the integration of Display and Search Marketing sales teams.
The integration on one hand created unmatched total solutions for marketers and advertisers ranging from international brands to SMEs, while on the other, it took the creativity and business growth of Hong Kong’s online advertising to the next level. In 2013, Rico was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo Hong Kong. Starting from 2014 fall, he has expanded his role in overseeing advertising business of India and South East Asia injecting his firing passion and unparalleled expertise across Asia Pacific.
Rico enjoys wine tasting and horse-riding in his spare time. Rico graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree of Business Administration majoring in Marketing.
Erika Wang

Erika Wang served as Managing Director of Yahoo Taiwan since 2014, and concurrently acted as Co-Head of Verizon Media APAC since 2019.
Erika participated in Yahoo Taiwan in 2010 as General Manager of Sales Group, leading the sales group to focus on targeting ads, social marketing and mobile advertising business operation. Under her leadership, she will continue to bring the revenue in display ads and search marketing advertising and create superior growth success, leading the team into the media business in Taiwan double-digit growth target. Erika was promoted as VP of Sales Group for Yahoo TW and HK in 2013.
Prior to Yahoo Taiwan, Erika Wang was the MD of Mindshare Taiwan (2006~2010), and led the team to win the Taipei Deaflympic Game Pitch in 2009, and brought revenue grow versus year 2008. She also made Mindshare Taiwan historical high both sales and revenue records in 2006.

Victor Cheng

As Vice President of Comscore North Asia, Victor Cheng has been helping advertisers understand the dynamics of the digital space since 2010. Victor was appointed Chairman of IAB Hong Kong (IAB HK) in 2021. Previously, Victor was Head of Business Development for MSN at Microsoft where he was the first business development leader for MSN in Hong Kong, developing the operation from inception into one of the chief revenue centers for MSN in Asia. Victor also served at other Fortune 500 corporations, such as Time Warner and CNBC, in the earlier years of his career.
