I use critical thinking, relentlessness and creativity to deliver first-rate outcomes. In academia, my PhD thesis was accepted without corrections---an achievement of very few in the UK. While working in the banking industry, my inflation and exchange rate forecasts were among the most accurate in Brazil. In both settings, I gained the competence to produce models and present their results effectively and confidently. Either working independently or in a cooperative environment, I combine knowledge, dedication and practicality to reach the desired goals.

I got my PhD in economics at the University of Essex in October 2021. I received my MA degree from Simon Fraser University in April 2015.

My research interests are in the study of technology, human capital and macroeconomics. As a teaching assistant, I have supported the modules of Intermediate Macroeconomics, International Trade, and Money and Banking.

Prior to resuming my graduate studies in 2013, I worked as a macroeconomic analyst in financial institutions after graduating with a bachelor's in economics from the Universidade de São Paulo in 2002. My last position was as the sole senior economist of Safra Asset Management, in 2012. Whilst working, I attained a master's degree in financial macroeconomics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in 2011. I joined the KU Leuven as a visiting PhD student in the Management, Strategy and Innovation (MSI) department from the 1st of April to the 30st of June 2019.
