My teacher leadership statement (Inspired by work from Jim Knight and Elena Aguilar):

A servant leader enacts partnership, equality, and choice while maintaining emotional intelligence to understand yourself and others.

Implications for teacher roles:

provide a partnership with other teachers

sets equality among teachers

Understands strengths and weaknesses within teachers

provides focused choices for assignments or ideas

always seeks to improve and grow
