Verdant - Life Simulation ("the App") is a single-player life simulation game developed by Shane Vincent. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.
1. DATA COLLECTION
Verdant - Life Simulation stores all game data locally on your device using localStorage. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. No data leaves your device at any time during gameplay.
2. PERSONAL INFORMATION
No accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, or personal identifiers are required to play Verdant - Life Simulation. All character names and game data are fictional and stored exclusively on your device.
3. COOKIES & TRACKING
Verdant - Life Simulation does not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising pixels, fingerprinting, or any third-party tracking technologies. We do not track your behaviour, usage patterns, or gameplay data.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App contains links to external services (Reddit, Ko-fi) which are subject to their own respective privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. No third-party SDKs or analytics services are embedded in the App.
5. ADVERTISING
Verdant - Life Simulation does not display advertisements. There are no ad networks, ad trackers, or ad-related data collection of any kind.
6. IN-APP PURCHASES
Verdant - Life Simulation may offer optional in-app purchases. Payment processing is handled entirely by the Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information.
7. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
All game data (save files, settings, preferences) is stored in your device's local storage. This data is not encrypted and is accessible only through the App or your device's storage settings. No data is transmitted to any server.
8. DATA DELETION
You can delete all game data at any time by:
- Clearing the App's data in your device Settings → Apps → Verdant - Life Simulation → Clear Data
- Uninstalling the App (removes all stored data)
This action is irreversible and will erase all save files and progress.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Verdant - Life Simulation contains mature themes including substance use, crime, financial hardship, relationship conflict, and moral dilemmas. The App is intended for players aged 17 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data from any user, no age-specific data collection occurs.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
