I'm an avid field hockey player with a passion for the game that has been burning brightly since 2020. I am honoured to have play for two fantastic teams: Sea to Sky div 1 and the Carson Graham Eagles, my school team.
My position as a forward allows me to channel my high energy into every game. Beyond my performance on the field, I bring enthusiasm and a positive spirit to every practice and game, often found with a playlist ready to inspire my teammates and boost moral.
In addition to my playing responsibilities, I am proud to be part of the leadership team for the Carson Graham Eagles. This role has allowed me to contribute to the team's strategy, foster team spirit and ensure everyone feels included and valued.
Field hockey is more than just a sport to me - it's a passion, a community, and a significant part of my life. Whether on the field or off, I strive to embody the values of teamwork, leadership and dedication that the sport has taught me.
Fun fact: I love playing in the rain.
I play any forward position and have experience as midfielder. I inject and, because of my speed, run first on defensive shorts.
Sea to Sky team, Europe Tour
I spent two weeks in the Netherlands with my Sea to Sky team, gaining international experience and enhancing my skill level. Playing teams from Australia, France, and the Netherlands gave me a good insight on how field hockey is played around the world. Being able to play in my home town in the Netherlands, with my team from Vancouver while having my grandpa and grandma on the sideline, was a memorable experience. During this Tour, I also participated in a clinic with field hockey player Maartje Paumen who won the Women's Hockey World Cup in 2006 and 2014 with the Dutch National Team and became Olympic Champion in 2008 and 2012.
India Club Tournament
Playing in the yearly India Club Tournament has allowed me to gain valuable exposure to different playing styles.
Seasonal Camps
I participated in numerous summer, spring, and fall camps, honing my skills and improving my tactical understanding of the game.
Shooting Star Tournament- Virginia
With my Sea- to- Sky team I travelled to Virginia, U.S.A, to play in the College Connection Camp, Shooting Stars tournament. This tournament was an amazing opportunity to play in the presence of University Coaches and refine my skills.
BC School Sports AAA Senior Girls Field Hockey Provincial Championships
This year my school field hockey team qualified for provincials for the first time in many years. Playing with this team has taught me so much, not only on the field but also off the field. I was able to use my leadership skills to bring our team together and organize our group. We finsihed provincials with 4th place in the province!
