I defended my doctoral thesis in economics on "The Political Economy of Foreign Aid: Allocation, Timing, and Effectiveness" in November 2016 at Heidelberg University. I also took several courses at the Centre for Doctoral Studies in Economics at the University of Mannheim. I worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the French Agency for Development Cooperation and the German GIZ.
I hold a a Master's degree in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po Paris and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
